The first day of the rest of my life.

...I hate that saying because it's like being grandiose in the form of stating the obvious. Kinda like when a friend is having a hard time or just got their car stolen and they console you by saying "Yeah, well, it could be worse." Yeah, I'm well aware it could be worse, Aids Face!

But that's that and I don't wanna start my first blog post on a negative note. So... Yay! First post! I've been meaning to start a blog cause it's a lot easier to do than keeping a journal and they say one way to keep you on task is to write a journal. Well, I'm not doing that so this will have to do.

There has been a lot going on in my personal and work life and I've been having a hard time sorting it all out. I'm kind of a "solve it myself" kinda guy but my brain only holds so much info so I figure it'll be best to write it down to help me keep track. Right now, I'm working a full time job office managing an animal hospital which takes up a ridiculous amount of time and brain power. It is not an easy or non-stressful job, lemme tell ya! But I have to keep my eyes on the prize and know what I really want which is to take my production company to the next level and hopefully start making films and shows that will make money. I'd be happy with just making indie films and cartoons for the rest of my life but it's a butt load of work. On top of that, I'm trying to get my body back in tippy toppy shape cause I miss competing. I don't know in what, I just miss it. There's nothing that makes you feel better about yourself than knowing that you made someone else lose at something they tried hard at all the while I'm looking sexy doing it!

I'm looking into some health, emergency first aid, and personal training classes, mostly for myself. I think it'll be fun to know how to do all that stuff but it's always good to have skills to fall back on job wise.

Anyway, that's all I got for now. I have a bunch of sketches to finish writing for Kids Eating Paste, our very first web show and our new camera arrives in a few weeks so I gotta make sure my part of the deal is held up. But I'll keep this updated and I promise to make it a lot funnier! It was my first post. I wanted it to be gentle ;)
